Coconut Chocolate Truffles
Ingredients:
- 200g dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup coconut cream
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut unsweetened
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
The coconut cream and coconut oil should be heated in a saucepan over low heat until they begin to simmer
Put the chopped dark chocolate in a bowl that can withstand heat
After pouring the heated coconut cream and oil mixture over the chocolate, give it a minute to set
Stir until smooth and the chocolate has melted completely
Include a dash of salt and vanilla extract
Blend thoroughly
The mixture should be chilled for two hours, or until it becomes manageable consistency
Cocoa powder and shredded coconut should be combined in a different bowl
Using your hands, roll tiny portions of the chocolate mixture into balls
In order to coat the chocolate balls uniformly, roll them in the coconut-cocoa mixture
After placing the truffles on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, chill them for an additional half-hour
Before serving, sprinkle some powdered sugar over the truffles
