Six Layer Sourdough Club Burger



The Six Layer Sourdough Club Burger is a mouthwatering combination of juicy beef patty, crispy bacon, tender turkey, creamy avocado, and Swiss cheese, all stacked between slices of toasted sourdough bread. It's a hearty and flavorful burger that's perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices sourdough bread
  • 12 slices cooked bacon
  • 12 slices turkey breast
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 6 leaves iceberg lettuce
  • 6 slices tomato
  • 6 slices avocado
  • Mayonnaise
  • Mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle to medium-high heat

Divide the ground beef into 6 equal portions and shape them into burger patties

Season with salt and pepper

Grill the burger patties to your preferred level of doneness, usually about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare

While the burgers are cooking, toast the sourdough bread slices until they're lightly browned

Once the burgers are almost done, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty and allow it to melt slightly

To assemble the burgers, spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of sourdough bread and mustard on the other side

Start layering the sandwich as follows: bread slice, lettuce leaf, tomato slice, bacon slices, burger patty with melted cheese, turkey slices, avocado slices, and finally, another slice of bread

Secure the layers with long toothpicks or bamboo skewers, cut in half diagonally, and serve hot
